Mini-Implants: Denture Attachment

Mini dental implants (around 2mm in diameter) enable Dr. Johnson to place implants with a minimally invasive method. These implants immediately stabilize dentures that are loose.

Mini dental implants are a good option when you:

Dr. Amber Johnson will provide all the information you need to make the best decision for you and your teeth.

Mini dental implants are often the best choice in the following situations:

  • can’t withstand the rigors of conventional implant surgery
  • don’t have enough bone to allow for full-sized implants to be placed
  • are seeking an option with a lower cost than traditional implant treatment

Effective for Full or Partial Dentures

Mini-implants can be used to hold a full denture or a partial denture in place by allowing the denture or partial to snap to the mini implants. This will lock in the denture or partial denture so that it stays in place and does not move. In some cases, mini implants can also be used in the replacement of a single missing tooth or multiple missing teeth.
