As a dentist, I find the biggest reward in my profession is to know that my patients are comfortable in my care and trust me with their oral health. Many people are fearful of the dentist or have had a previous bad experience, and I work hard to alleviate a patient’s fear and to put them at ease.
I want to provide a unique dental experience for my patients. I strive to blend artistry and advanced techniques while also providing a comfortable setting and quality care that patients deserve.
Education and Continuing Education
I attended Lipscomb University for my undergraduate education and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a Biology major and Chemistry minor, graduating summa cum laude. I then attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. While at the University of Tennessee, I received the James T. Andrews Award for restorative dentistry and also graduated with honors. Before opening Berry Farms Dental, I was an associate dentist in a group practice in Madison and Mt. Juliet.
I realize how important it is to continue to learn about the latest technology, dental materials, and new procedures in dentistry so that I can best benefit my patients. Therefore, each year I earn well above the minimum requirements for continuing education. This past year I received the ACE award from the Tennessee Dental Association for completing more than double the amount of required continuing education hours.
Additional Course Certifications:
- Mini-implant placement for the 3M denture attachment system
- Invisalign Certification
- ClearCorrect Certification
- Oral Conscious Sedation Certification
My membership in professional affiliations is another important way for me to keep up with the latest advances in dentistry and also provides an opportunity to actively engage in conversations with dental colleagues and specialists about the best care for my patients.
- American Dental Association
- Tennessee Dental Association
- Nashville Dental Society
- International Team for Implantology
- Millenium Study Club
Outside the Office
I live in Nashville with my husband, Russell, our two daughters, Ellis and Emeri, and our two goldendoodles, Wrigley and Napa. In my spare time I enjoy going to the Titans games, playing with my kids, traveling, and sampling Nashville’s many restaurants.
I have fifteen years of experience working in dental administration and practice management. I love all aspects of dentistry, particularly getting to know our patients and helping them feel better about themselves through giving them a better smile. I also love living in Franklin! When I’m not at Berry Farms Dental, you will probably find me working out or cheering for Kentucky basketball with my husband, Jason and our son, Harlem.
I am a registered dental hygienist with over 5 years of experience. I graduated from ETSU with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. My greatest joy is getting to know patients and helping them maintain their beautiful, healthy smile. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband Kyle and our two boys, Jackson and Noah. We are active in our church, love the outdoors, and enjoy going to Predators games.
I am a registered dental assistant and a graduate of Page High School in Franklin, TN. I attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and completed the dental assisting program through Sixth District in Columbia, TN. I hold additional certifications in radiology and nitrous oxide monitoring. Nothing is more rewarding to me than serving others and improving someone’s smile and health.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Judd, canoeing, traveling and loving on our rescue dog Abby.
I have been a registered dental assistant for five years, and I completed the dental assisting program from Vol State Community College. I also have extra certifications in radiology and nitrous oxide monitoring. I love working with patients and getting to know them and their families. I love being able to help people have a beautiful smile and healthy mouth. When I’m not working, I can be found hanging out with my husband, my twin girls and our family and friends.
I come from a dental family and have been in dental hygiene 38 years. I grew up in Murfreesboro, TN and studied at TSU/Meharry Dental College and UT Memphis. I especially enjoy learning and continuing my dental hygiene education, always exceeding the required number of hours. My parents instilled in me “gentle, yet thorough”, so I am proud to be part of the team where high standards, a caring atmosphere, and concern for patient’s comfort are stressed. I really enjoy caring for individuals with dental anxiety, as I completely understand their fears. Helping patients improve their oral health is extremely rewarding.
I have enjoyed living in Berry Farms for several years and watching the area grow. I am enjoying meeting new people and making new friends, as well as having nieces and my new great-nephew in the neighborhood. I have 2 sweet dogs, Elie Mae and Crockett. I love spending time with my family, gardening, art, travel, UT football, live music, and most recently working out at The Barre.
I am a graduate of Remington College’s School of Dental Hygiene. My favorite aspect of my career is helping patients feel at ease in the dental office. I grew up in Dayton, Ohio and moved to Nashville in 2008. I currently live in Bellevue with my husband Adam and our son, Maxwell. I love working with Dr Johnson and staff because of the fun and relaxed atmosphere.
I have been a dental hygienist for 19 years. I grew up in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and later received my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. After college I moved to Franklin, and I absolutely love it here. One of my favorite things about Franklin is that it’s a small town. I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing patients I have known for years walk through our office doors for an appointment. Berry Farms Dental is a wonderful place. It has a very fun and upbeat staff, and I have enjoyed being a part of the team. When I am not working, I am spending time with my husband, speaking at marriage conferences, traveling, gardening, or driving my four kids to all their various activities.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Western Kentucky University, and I have been practicing dental hygiene for over 15 years. I love what I do. One of the most rewarding things for me is when I am able to help someone overcome their dental office anxiety and get them back on track to better oral and overall health. I love getting to know my patients and look forward to our “visits”. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, John, and our three girls, Grace (16), Bella Kate (4), and Carly (2). I love reading anything I can get my hands on, listening to podcasts, and getting lost in my art room.
